The case for In Every Chapter is craft plus coordination. It is artist-made: each couple is paired with one designer who studies your dog’s photos and your wedding vision, then captures the quirks that make your dog unmistakably yours. Revisions are unlimited at the proof stage, so you keep going until the illustration looks like your dog.
Then the design travels. Your dog appears on custom cocktail napkins, acrylic drink stirrers, frosted keepsake cups, tote bags, matchboxes, coozies, and welcome and bar signs. It is a coordinated set that does not fall into a boring, identical, matchy-matchy look: the pieces are designed to work together while still feeling considered.

How the other two compare
Sip Hip Hooray sells three-ply pet napkins, 5 by 5 inches with a 3 by 3 inch print area, drawn by in-house artists. The $57 on the napkin listing is the napkin price. Its own process page says a custom pet portrait requires the addition of a separate custom art fee, and accessories such as a bowtie, hat, or floral wreath are $10 each. Changes are limited to two edits to the drawing itself before a full redraw, although design and color changes are unlimited. Drawings take 5 to 10 business days to complete, and the order is expected about two weeks after you approve the proof. Shipping is free only on orders over $250.
Rubi & Lib offers custom pet napkins with foil finishes, multiple colors, and digital proofs. Napkin pricing starts at $67.50 for 25, but the pet illustration is a separate custom artwork fee that you buy alongside the napkins, so the starting price is not the full cost. Two rounds of text and layout edits are included, but changes to the illustration itself cost an additional redraw fee. Its listing says proofs arrive within one to three business days and production takes seven to ten business days. We did not see a free-shipping offer on the page we checked.

What the ratings can and cannot tell you
In Every Chapter’s site reports 4.9 out of 5 from 300 or more orders, with published testimonials that praise the likeness of the illustrations, the finished products, and the service. One bar-sign customer specifically praises the materials and customer service, and others describe accurate proofs and polished results.
Treat that as brand-reported. It is not an independently audited rating, and competing brands publish very positive feedback of their own. Ratings drawn from different products and platforms are not directly comparable, so use them as a signal, not a ranking.
Count backward from the wedding
Timelines add up differently across the three shops, so compare the whole path, not one number. Sip Hip Hooray’s drawings alone take 5 to 10 business days before its two-week window after proof approval. Rubi & Lib proofs in one to three business days, produces in seven to ten, and suggests ordering four to six weeks ahead. A full In Every Chapter collection involves more pieces and more design work, which is why its guidance leaves a cushion.
For In Every Chapter, the published guidance is to order about three months before the wedding, just in case. Most orders arrive about four to five weeks after you approve the proof, and rush processing may be available depending on capacity, so ask before you order if your date is close.
Here is what that looks like for a June 20 wedding. Order by March 20. If you approve your proof by April 20, delivery lands by about May 25, nearly four weeks before the wedding. That leaves a month of slack for slow-replying partners, a second round of changes, or a shipping hiccup.
The proof stage is the moment that matters most. Production does not begin until you approve in writing, and after that, In Every Chapter says revisions, cancellations, or replacements are not guaranteed. Before you approve, check your dog’s name, both partners’ names, the date, and the spelling of everything. Then ask someone else to check it again.
